The 2016 RecruitBomb FNF Magazine Camp Series, a travelling one-day football camp for players in grades 7-11, will kick off its statewide tour with its Jacksonville-St. Johns camp on Saturday, Feb. 13 at Creekside High School.
The event is produced by Friday Night Football Florida magazine, which has published an annual Florida high school football preview since 2009.
“We are very excited to bring the RecruitBomb FNF Magazine Camp Series to the Jacksonville-St. Johns area in February,” said RecruitBomb Camp Series Recruiting Coordinator Corey Long. “FNF Florida magazine has been promoting high school football in this area since 2009 and we are excited to take the next step and execute a player-focused program that will help prepare players for the 2016 campaign.”
The RecruitBomb Camp Series is a competitive and educational opportunity for athletes in grades 7 through 11 and is designed as a work event to help make participants more prepared for the upcoming spring, summer and fall seasons. The camp, which runs all day and requires online registration prior to the event, provides players with an opportunity to improve, refine and learn from a team of qualified coaches and instructors.
FNF magazine will host six Florida camps in 2016 with Florida-area high schools serving as host sites, and family members are encouraged to attend. An expert coaching staff will provide constructive feedback to all players who attend, regardless of skill level and experience.
“We launched the RecruitBomb FNF Magazine Camp Series last year at Admiral Farragut in St. Petersburg and received incredible feedback from the players, parents and coaches who participated or watched,” Long said. “This camp is for student-athletes currently in seventh grade through eleventh grade and is designed to enhance their game by placing them in both an educational and competitive football environment.”
