Five photographers have been voted 2017 FNF Photographer of the Year by high school football fans across six states.
One photographer from each of the FNF publication regions — Texas, Florida, Georgia, Ohio and the Carolinas — has earned the title of Photographer of the Year and will have his/her work featured in the 2017 edition of FNF.
The winning photographers include:
FNF Texas — McKenna Thompson
FNF Ohio — Michael Kelley
FNF Georgia — Matthew Hall
FNF Florida — Carl Kafka
FNF Carolinas — Jenna Miller
Each photographer will be featured in FNF Magazine with a profile that will run alongside the winning photo.
In Texas, Thompson’s photo of Belton High’s Peyton Mansell going airborne on his way into the end zone received 45.87 percent of the votes.
In Ohio, Kelley’s photo of Barberton’s Keye Thompson stretching for the goal line earned 37.67 percent of the vote.
In Georgia, Hall’s photo of Houston County quarterback Jake Fromm signing an autograph for a fan received 34.84 percent of the vote.
In Florida, Kafka’s photo of Ransom coach Mosi Blake receiving a Gatorade shower after winning “The Battle for the Oar” earned 28.44 percent of the vote.
And in North Carolina, Miller’s photo of Scotland High tailback Syheam McQueen rushing past Glenn High defenders received 33.56 percent of the vote.
